CYBER SECURITY – RISK MANAGEMENT FOR THE MINORITY MANUFACTURING INDUSTRY

The Mid-Atlantic Region Minority Business Development Agency Advanced Manufacturing Center – Baltimore will host its first open house on August 2, 2017 at Morgan State University. The topic will be Cyber Security – Risk Management for the Manufacturing Industry. In conjunction with our co-host and strategic partner RMI of Maryland we have invited Gwen Greene, President and CEO of Applied Information Tech and Art Jacoby, founder and Chairman of the non-profit Cybersecurity Association of Maryland Inc. (CAMI), to speak to our minority manufacturing constituents. Attendees of the open house who choose to become clients of the center will receive a discounted engagement fee.

Gwen Greene, D.Sc,  is the owner of Applied Information Technology which is a  minority woman-owned Information Technology (IT) and Cyber Systems Solutions Company. http://applieditech.com/   She  has over 15 years of IT engineering experiences that involved a solid knowledge of reviewing organization’s system security requirements and changing the security culture. Gwen’s post-graduate work includes a Doctor of Science, with studies in Information Security and the critical success factors to securing informational assets. She is also a Certified Information System Security Professional (CISSP).
