Serving The Mid-Atlantic Region Through Strategic Partnerships
The Mid-Atlantic Region Minority Business Development Agency Advanced Manufacturing Center – Baltimore is one of only four grant recipients in the country to receive U.S. Department of Commerce Business Development Agency funding to operate an advanced manufacturing center. These national centers targets assistance to minority manufacturers in the Mid-Atlantic Region to increase the number of “Made in America” products that can be sold domestically and globally. The Mid-Atlantic Center connects the minority manufacturing community in Maryland, Delaware, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Virginia, and the District of Columbia.
Partner Services
Collectively, partnering organizations work with the center to perform instrumental services:
Providing expert knowledge on the industry
Facilitating client identification, referrals, teaming arrangements, and matchmaking with service providers and resource organizations, including access to public and private sector services and resources
Providing assistance with access to financing, contracts, markets, and to strategic business consulting and global business development services.
Assessing the regulatory climate and advocating for regulatory reform
