Baltimore MEDWeek featured remarks from 37 national, state, and local public officials and subject matter experts from government, corporate, and trade organizations. Themed, “Succeeding Together:Through Collaborative and Cooperative Thought and Action. This years event, held virtually November 9-12, engaged more than 150 attendees virtually in:

-Sessions for manufacturers on dealing with peak performance goals during the pandemic, building a capital network, and higher education services and resources

-The Manufacturing Innovation Hub Cooperative (MiHUB CoOp) ribbon cutting and launch

-Procurement practice pitch sessions

-A Veterans Day observation, including manufacturing success stories and veteran-owned business service and resource links

-A procurement fair

-Company site visits

-A networking platform

Baltimore MEDWeek highlights the importance of Minority Business Enterprises (MBEs) in our Region, including the stakeholders impacted by MBEs as suppliers, employers and contributors to our economic growth. The event was hosted by the City Of Baltimore Mayor’s Office of Small, Minority and Women Businesses and the Mid-Atlantic Region MBDA Advanced Manufacturing Center – Baltimore in Collaboration with the Manufacturing Innovation Hub Cooperative (MiHUB CoOP) and media sponsor the Afro.
