Join the GBC for the inaugural Bridging the Gap Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Summit!
This informative half-day event will bring together majority, minority and women-owned businesses and civic organizations to discuss strategies for transforming the culture within your business and across the broader community to be more diverse, equitable and inclusive.
Keynote speaker Dr. Steve Robbins will discuss: “Your Brain is Good at Inclusion … Except When it’s Not.”
A thought leader and innovator, Dr. Robbins’ unique, science-based approach to inclusion and diversity has captured wide acclaim from audiences and organizations across the United States. The core of his work is about understanding human behavior and leveraging human differences in an ever-changing, fast-paced world. He is the creator of the video training series “Inclusion Insights” and the author of “What If? Short Stories to Spark Inclusion & Diversity Dialogue.” Dr. Robbins earned an undergraduate degree in Communication from Calvin College, and a masters and doctorate in Communication Science from Michigan State University.
