The manufacturing industry is at a crossroads. We are a State that is diverse in industry, rich with resources, strong with partners but often inconsistent with our messaging and weak in the alignment of our resources and programs. As a supporter and partner in the manufacturing sector we want to collaborate, connect, and continue moving this industry forward.

Maryland MEP is hosting a convening of the most impactful partners and stakeholders including government, nonprofit leaders, community organizations and influencers to strengthen partnerships, share best practices and collectively focus on aligning resources and strengthening our manufacturing sector. The objective of the day is to better understand the assets and resources available to the manufacturing sector, identify opportunities for alignment and growth, and develop strategies to overcome challenges and threats.

This will be a half-day interactive working session and analysis of Maryland’s manufacturing ecosystem. Participants will have the opportunity to share best practices, programs and resources that are available for manufacturers, explore current and future needs and challenges, identify opportunities for collaboration and growth and develop a strategy for both short-term and long-term success.
