COVID-19 Funding for Accelerating Small Manufacturing Businesses

May 11, 2020 @ 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm

Next Round: COVID-19 Funding and Procurement Opportunities for accelerating minority manufacturing businesses. For many, the Federal and State Covid 19 financial assistance have been elusive. In this next round of Covid 19 assistance, we see local governments, philanthropists, and social venture funds stepping in to help. This MiHUB Monday webinar will feature representatives from local government sharing information and opportunities for accessing Covid 19 assistance. Panelists include: Baltimore City Councilman Eric Costello, Co-Chair Baltimore City’s COVID-19 Small Business Recovery Task Force; Andrew “Drew” Vetter Deputy Administrative Officer, Baltimore County, and Rasheed Aziz of City Wide Youth Development (Made in Bmore Clothing), a recipient of Baltimore City’s PPE Production grant. Attendees will learn about specific local funds, eligibility requirements, and procurement opportunities arising out of local governments’ response to Covid 19. Hear how one entrepreneur leveraged funding and pivoted his business.
