FreeThis “FREE” GSA acquisition seminar is intended for federal, state and local government acquisition / procurement officials, Contracting Officers, Program/Project Managers, Engineers and Contracting Officer Technical Representatives (COTRs) seeking detailed contracting information pertinent to the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), Federal Supply Schedules (FSS), IT Schedule 70 program and the National IT Commodities Program (NITCP) while providing training that will equip the audience with tools necessary to simplify their acquisition processes prior to end-of-year FY17. Attendees will learn the systematic process necessary to successfully award and administer delivery and task order awarded through Federal Supply Contracts, How To Navigate AF Advantage, e-Tools, e-Buy and the Acquisition Gateway while learning how to navigate and award requirements for your normal furniture buys (Executive Office & Conference Room Furniture, Office Seating and Systems/Cubicle Furniture). These courses will be presented in-depth by your local CSD. The course agenda includes:
Topics to be addressed during the acquisition seminar include:
The purpose, benefits, and regulatory foundation of the Multiple Awards Schedule (MAS) Program and the IT Schedule 70 (NITCP) program;
Characteristics and Schedule flexibilities relating to the acquisition life cycle including acquisition planning and market research;
The task / delivery order administrative functions, documentation requirements, and ordering methods when using GSA Schedules as outlined in FAR Subpart 8.4;
GSA Solutions, AF Advantage, e-Tools, e-Buy processes, Acquisition Gateway steps while covering the Air Force BPA tools for office furniture.
